The appearance of the infinitesimal analysis was the culmination of a long process, whose mathematical essence intern consisted of the accumulation and theoretical assimilation of the elements of the differential calculus and integral and the theory of the series. For the development of this process it was counted on: algebra; the calculation techniques; introduction to the variable mathematics; the method of coordinates; classic infinitesimal ideas, especially of Archimedes; problems of quadratures; search of tangents the causes that motivated this process was, in first term, the exigencies of the mechanics, astronomy and the physics. In the resolution of problems of this sort, in the search of general problems of resolution and in the creation of the infinitesimal analysis many scientists took part: Kepler, Galileo, Cavalieri, Torricelli, Pascal, Walis, Roberval, Fermat, Discardings, Barrow, Newton, Leibniz, and Euler. He continues reading, these points are essential in the differential calculus. Concerning the integral methods, the greater indivisible fame acquired the geometry of, created by Cavalieri, thought like a universal method of geometry.
This method was created for the determination of the measures of the flat figures and bodies, which imagined like elements composed of elements of smaller dimension. Thus, the figures consist of segments of straight parallels and the bodies of parallel planes. Nevertheless, this method was incapable to measure lengths of curves, since corresponding the indivisible ones (the points) were adimensionales. In spite of it, the integration defined in the form of geometric quadratures, acquired fame in first half of century XVII, due to the great amount of problems that could solve. The concept of Calculation and its ramifications were introduced in century XVIII, with the great development that obtained the mathematical analysis, creating branches like the calculation differential, integral and of variations. This it is the development the mathematics have obtained since the man vi the necessity to count, to the present time. At the moment great amount of mathematicians follows in the development of the mathematical denominated mathematics modern, of where their concepts are the base of most of present sciences. Perhaps as much information confuses a little on this subject in specific that it is the calculation, but little by little we can include/understand and know how in question to be able to handle it.
